Staff Sargent Ryan Pitts
In 2014, Staff Sargent Ryan Pitts was awarded the Medal of Honor by then-President Obama for his actions in Afghanistan in 2008. The veteran non-profit, America’s Warrior Partnership (AWP), hosted an event on the Seaport Elite with included a meet-and-greet with Ryan, dinner onboard, and his keynote speech as we sailed around Boston Harbor.
America’s Warrior Partnership’s ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for veterans and end veteran suicide by empowering local communities to serve them proactively and holistically before a crisis occurs.
