I've been to Italy twice now, but not yet to visit where my ancestors are from. My first visit took me to the Italian Riviera. I sailed along the west coast of Italy, traveling to Genoa, the Cinque Terre, Porto Venere, Elba Island, then inland to Carrara, Lucca, and Florence. When I returned to Italy in 2017, I visited Livorno, Pisa, and Rome.
